Compostable Cello Bags

In 2021 I discovered a company who manufacture compostable and biodegradable bags in a variety of sizes. I have invested in these as I want to not only keep the artwork safe when being transported around, but to also do my part for the environment.

Investing in this type of packaging means that I am reducing single-use plastic whilst keeping my artwork safe!

The bags are made from compostable EN13432 Film, meaning the bags will disintegrate after 12 weeks and completely biodegrade after 6 months.

You can either do this at home or with commercial composting. If you are doing the composting at home, the bags may decompose slower with colder temperatures.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a lack of A3 compostable bags available, the larger prints will be delivered using cellophane bags, which are not compostable and should go in your regular bin.

Recyclable Packaging

The remainder of my packaging chosen can be recycled as normal with other paper products.

The prints are wrapped in white tissue paper and placed in either a cardboard postal tube, a brown cardboard box, or a hard backed envelope depending on the size.

The cards and note tags are also made from paper based products so can also be recycled after use.

The brown tape around the outside of the boxes is fully recyclable too!
